Holding of the 10th Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-10)

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will hold the 10th Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-10) under the joint auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand (MOST), the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency of Thailand (GISTDA), and the Chiang Mai University as below.

APRSAF is an annual forum, which was proposed by Japan at the Asia-Pacific ISY (International Space Year) Conference in 1992. It has been held since 1993.

Under the theme of "Toward Promoting Cooperation on Space Application in Our Region", APRSAF participants at this session will be expected to report their space activities and discuss future plans with a view to promoting space utilization among space development agencies and space user agencies in the Asia-Pacific region.
