Results of First Stage Captive Firing Test conducted as Part of the Standard Type H-II A Launch Vehicle Ground Test Vehicle / Ground System Tests (GTV-1)

The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) conducted First Stage Captive Firing Test as part of the GTV-1 Tests at the H-II Launch Complex, Tanegashima Space Center on Tuesday, Jun. 20, 2000, with data being successfully obtained according to plan.

Burn time: 10sec (10seconds)
Firing pressure: 12.36MPa (12.28MPa)

Provided no problems arise with the post-test inspection and data evaluation for the current test, the next GTV-1 First Stage Captive Firing Test will be conducted on Saturday, July 1.
