Return Ceremony of the "Flag of Philippines Science High School"
Flown Onboard Space Shuttle with Koichi Wakata

In an effort to inspire the children in Asian nations toward space development, National Space Development Agency of Japan has flown a "Flag of Philippines Science High School" in space as an official flight kit memorabilia onboard STS-92 (International Space Station mission 3A), space shuttle Discovery, launched on October 2000, on which NASDA astronaut Koichi Wakata flew as a crew member.

NASDA will invite the representatives (a student and an instructor) from Philippines Science High School to Japan and hold a ceremony to return the "Flag of Philippines Science High School" as planned below.

In addition to the participation to the ceremony, these two representatives from Philippines Science High School will tour Tanegashima Space Center and Tsukuba Space Center to observe the scene of Japanese Space Development during their stay from 26 October to 31.
