Ground Test Vehicle (GTV) Test

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. successfully conducted a comprehensive ground test for the H-IIB Launch Vehicle by using the Ground Test Vehicle (GTV) on July 11, 2009, at the Tanegashima Space Center.
We would like to send our sincere appreciation to all people and parties concerned with this GTV test.
At the time of the GTV test, the weather was clear, a wind speed was 5.3 m/second from the South South West, and the temperature was 26.1 degrees Celsius.
