Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) would like to announce that the launch of the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 21 (H-IIA F21) with the Global Changing Observation Mission 1st - Water “SHIZUKU” (GCOM-W1) and the Korean Multi-purpose Satellite 3 (KOMPSAT-3) of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) onboard, was reported to the Space Activities Commission (SAC) as follows.
To capitalize on the excess launch capability of the H-IIA F21, we will also provide launch and orbit injection opportunities for two small secondary payloads.
