National Space Development Agency of Japan
The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) shipped the Micro-Particles Capture & Space Environment Exposure Device (MPAC & SEED) and the High-Definition Television (HDTV) Camera System to the Russian Aeronautics and Space Administration (RASA) on May 13, 2001.
Progress, the Russian unmanned resupply vehicle, will carry aboard this equipment to the Service Module (SM) of the International Space Station (ISS) in July 2001.
MPAC & SEED will be attached to the outside of SM with extravehicular activities (EVA) and HDTV Camera System will be used inside SM for Filming Experiment by acquiring images on medical application and Public Affairs application.
