Information to Help You Plan Your Visit to Our Exhibition Facilities

Preventing COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and stopping its spread

To prevent the spread of coronavirus, please follow the guidelines below to help keep yourself and other visitors safe.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

JAXA provides this guidance based on requests from the national and local governments. Please understand that the guidance may change in accordance with changes in the requests made by the national and local governments.

  • Advanced bookings are required for some field centers. Visitors may be asked to wait if a building becomes too crowded. Please check the visitor information for each facility in advance.
  • Countermeasures may differ depending on the facility. Please check the visitor information for each facility in advance.

Please refrain from visiting the facility if you fall under any of the following conditions.

  • Required to isolate/quarantine by a Public Health Center etc.
  • Within the self-isolation period stipulated by the government.
  • In poor physical condition (exhibiting symptoms including fever, cough, or other relatively light cold symptoms, including loss of taste and/or smell).
    Please note: If even one person in your group falls under any of the above, please refrain from visiting JAXA.

We ask for your cooperation regarding the following when entering the facility.

  • If you have a fever or are exhibiting any of the symptoms described above, you will be refused entry.
  • Please use sanitizer and wash your hands.

We are implementing the following initiatives.

  • Our employees are required to wear a face mask and undergo temperature and health checks.
  • We regularly disinfect exhibits.
  • We conduct regular ventilation.
  • Acrylic partitions are installed to prevent droplet infection at information desks.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are installed.
