Launch Schedule of MICHIBIKI No. 5, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-5) aboard H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.8 [Rescheduled]

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) scheduled the launch of MICHIBIKI No. 5, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-5) aboard H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.8 on December 17, 2025. However, it has been canceled because an uncertain incident was found in the cooling water injection equipment.
As a result of the investigation, the cause was identified in the frame deflector cooling system of the cooling water injection equipment, and a verification test confirmed that water can be injected at the proper flow rate.
Based on the above, the new launch date for H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.8 has been rescheduled as follows:
