The purpose of this system is to have satellites in geosynchronous orbit relay communications between Earth observation satellites and ground stations. This will enable to expand the range of realtime communication area. Optical communication is adopted instead of radio waves to increase the data transmission volume in order to meet the advancement of satellite development for highresolution data.
