JAXA follows a basic environment policy based on the JAXA Philosophy.
JAXA Basic Environment Policy
JAXA engages in activities to maintain the environment on the Earth and in space in order to construct a society that enables sustainable development.
For that purpose:
- we make our best efforts to solve global environmental problems and reduce the environmental burden through research, development and applications,
- we actively engage in and continuously improve our activities toward the environment,
- and we openly release information about our activities and communicate well with all sorts of stakeholders.
